Ken and Deb Schultz

Ken and Deb received the St Patrick Parish Service Award on December 10th in church
after Advent Evening Prayer.  This award consists of a framed certificate and a lapel pin.

For over twenty years, Ken and Deb have devoted thousands of hours
elevating worshipers’ praise to God through beautiful music. As cantors,
and through their guitar instrumentals and participation in the church choir,
they have enriched and ennobled several decades of evening prayers,
stations of the cross, and the celebration of many hundreds of
Masses. Their willingness to share their time and talents reflects great credit on
our parish and themselves.

Congratulations John Hopkins!

John Hopkins received the St Patrick Parish Service Award in front of his fellow Finance Council members on September 12th.
This award consists of a framed certificate and a lapel pin.
John has volunteered for a myriad of ministries for more than a decade. Many of his activities are time intensive, including Sacristan and Master of Ceremonies for all Holy Week Masses. His leadership roles include Finance Council Membership and scheduling all weekend Mass Liturgical Ministers. John’s service elevates the worship experience for thousands of parishioners and visitors, bears witness to Christ, and reflects great credit to our parish and to himself.

Congratulations Rose Kulig!

Rose has led the parish’s annual rummage sale
for many years. She devotes countless hours
coordinating volunteers, advertising, sorting
and preparing sales items, and supervising the event.
She also identifies charities that accept
all leftover items. Rose’s efforts have raised
substantial funds for parish projects and ministries.
Her willingness to share her time and talents
bears witness to Christ and reflects great credit
to our parish and to herself.

Congratulations to Bonnie Holmberg

Bonnie has assisted for many years with music during funerals and weekly Mass and also serves as a lector. She ensures parishioners in assisted or full-time care facilities enjoy weekly mass or communion services. Bonnie acts as a sacristan and plans and provides music liturgy for these essential community services.
Her willingness to share her time and talents bears witness to Christ and reflects great credit to our parish and to herself.

Congratulations to Laura Dwyer – Church Decorating

Laura has supported our parish for many years. She organizes the environment committee that is responsible for transforming our church’s decor throughout the liturgical year. She also servers on the Sacred Worship Committee, volunteers as a Sacristan, and helps in many other areas whenever she is asked.
Laura provides a stellar example of service to our parish community.

Congratulations Nancy Fee!

Nancy Fee received the St Patrick Parish Service Award in front of her fellow Finance Council members on January 9th. This award consists of a framed certificate and a lapel pin.

Nancy has volunteered for a great many ministries for several decades, including Lector and Communion Minister. She sacrifices eight weekends annually as a Sacristan and witnesses her faith to her community through volunteering in the Hunger Task Force. Nancy is also a longtime member of the Finance Council. Nancy’s efforts elevate the liturgy for thousands of parishioners and visitors, bears witness to Christ, and reflects great credit to our parish and to herself.

Congratulations Marge Hickey!

Marge Hickey is the first recipient of the St Patrick Parish Witness Award.

This award recognizes witnesses of the faith who make a substantial contribution of exceptional significance to the St Patrick Parish Community and/or to evangelizing our Catholic Faith. This contribution must be of rare quality due to praiseworthy length of service and/or of substantial and lasting impact in one or more service category. The Witness Award consists of a framed print of James Tissot’s painting, “The Voice in the Desert”.

Marge has served as the Parish Minister for over 19 years. Through her diligent efforts, hundreds of seniors, married couples, and RCIA candidates received unsurpassed spiritual guidance that will form them and future generations. Additionally, she has ministered in a myriad of activities, ensuring they comply with our Catholic identity and are conducted with the highest dignity, respect and piety, including: funerals, baptisms, weekday mass preparation, scripture studies, and the homebound communion ministry.

A member of this parish since 1975, she continues to volunteer her time to help whenever and wherever there is a need, and she does so with a humility and sincerity that makes her among the most trusted, admired, and approachable members of our parish. Marge’s exemplary service bears witness to Christ, and reflects superior credit to our parish and to herself.

Marge was joined by her husband, Joe, as she received this award in front of her fellow parishioners during the 7:00 am Mass on January 13th.
